Double efficacyDiuron prevents both germination and re-rooting growing at the same time. Visual discolouring and necrosis on leaves appear after TREVISSIMO™ application, followed by rapid destruction of seedlings. Diuron acts on a wide range of weeds including annual and perennial grassy and broad leaved weeds. When Diuron is correctly applied to the upper layers of the soil, seed development is halted by the long term effect of TREVISSIMO™.
Bioregulating agents in the formulation facilitate penetration of Glyphosate through the stomata and lesions, in particular the leaf cuticle, to all green parts of the plant (stalks and leaves). Once inside the plant, the product is rapidly transmitted to the active growth promotion areas, i.e. root and stalk endings. Glyphosate disturbs cellular metabolism and weed development and total destruction (leaves, stalks, runners, roots, rhizomes) follows.
The role of Glyphosate in the formulation is to eliminate adult weeds, thus contributing to the rapid and long lasting efficacy of TREVISSIMO™.
The excellent effect of TREVISSIMO™ on a wide range of both pre and post emergence weeds is due to the balanced mixture of Diuron and Glyphosate. Only Arysta LifeScience’s special formulation with bioregulating agents assures excellent efficacy at a very low dose (5 litres/ha).
• Easy of use : TREVISSIMO™ is very simple to use with excellent selectivity in mature vineyards (4 years and more), efficacy regardless of soil type and low sensitivity to leaching.
• Safe for the environment : When TREVISSIMO™ is applied at 5 litres/ha/year, only 1250 g of Diuron are applied, i.e. 250 g less than the maximum dose authorised (1500g/ha/year). The Glyphosate in TREVISSIMO™ is rapidly degraded into simple components, thus avoiding accumulation in soil or ground water.
CONCLUSION :
EFFICACY + FLEXIBILITY TO USE + SECURITY
= 100 % peace of mind right up to harvest time !
Recommended programme for optimum efficacy :
• 1st treatment at the end of winter (February/March/April) : OXALIS™ (360 g/l Glyphosate + physiodynamic regulators surfactants) or AMINOTRIAZOLE™
• 2nd treatment at the beginning of summer (May/June/July) TREVISSIMO™ (5 l/ha). When large quantities of couch grass, or convolvulus are present, add OXALIS®.

This treatment programme controls competitive weeds from the end of winter right up to harvest time, i.e. 5 to 7 months.

Recommendations for use It is possible to treat using either blanket or local applications on plantation rows (treating only 1/2 to 1/3 of the area).
Blanket application : TREVISSIMO™ 5 l/ha
Localised application :
• On 1/2 area :
- Medium textured soil : 3.5 l/ha
- Clay or sandy soil : 2.5 to 3 l/ha
• On 1/3 area :
- Medium textured soil : 3 to 3.5 l/ha
- Clay or very sandy soil : 2 to 2.5l/ha
Application rate : TREVISSIMO™ should be applied on one sole occasion at the registered dose 5 l/ha at early weed post emergence time between January and June depending on grape growing areas (see our recommendations).
Preparation of tank mix : First pour one third of quantity of water into tank. Start up mechanical mixer. Add required quantity TREVISSIMO™ while continuing to mix. Add remaining quantity of water.
Use between 200 and 400 litres tank mix per hectare. Application can be made by knap-sack sprayer or by tractor with spray ramps. Agitation should be maintained during treatment. Spray in calm weather, without wind. Do not allow mix to come into contact with vine leaves.
When mixing with another plant protection product, always test in advance. TREVISSIMO™ is compatible with OXALIS™ *(360 g/l glyphosate - Reg N° 9900387- Arysta LifeScience) and we recommend using a mixture of these two products when convolvulus and/or dogs tooth grass are present. Mixing should be made just before use.
Our company declines all responsibility for any consequences which may result from mixing different products.
