Foly® is a ready-to-use emulsionnable concentrate formulation containing 120 g/l of Clethodim and is for use after weeds have emerged. Foly® is absorbed quickly by the leaves and translocated through the entire plant, concentrating in the rapidely- growing meristematic tissues.
Foly® is effective against annual and perennial grasses.

Foly®, containing Clethodim (CycloHexaneDion family, more commonly known as “Dims”), provides a larger security margin for prevention and destruction of grasses resistant to « FOP » herbicides (eg black grass & ryegrass sp.).
Optimum treatment time: 3 leaf up to mid-tilleringOn annual grasses, Foly® should be used from 3 leaf stage onwards.
On perennial grasses (sugar beet and sunflowers), wait until the crop reaches 15-20 cm in height.
A ready to use formulation Formulation adjuvants improve leaf penetration of Clethodim and guarantee efficacy of Foly® without adding oil to the tank mix (except for oil seed rape).
Application rates and timingIf applied at proper weed growth stage and under correct conditions of application, only one treatment is necessary.
• On herbicide-sensitive crops such as peas, flax, a few days interval (5-7) must be respected between the broadleaf weed herbicide application and Foly® treatment.
• On flax, treat before crop reaches 20 cm.
• If for any reason (frost, diseases, other factors), the treated crop has been damaged, recropping is possible without any restriction for broadleaf crops.
For Grass crops without tillage an interval of one month is needed before sowing.
• Do not work the soil 5 – 7 days before or after spraying, in particular if perennials grasses weeds are present.
• On sugar beet, Foly® is more effective when used alone and not mixed with other herbicides.
• Do not mix with adjuvants other than mineral or vegetal oils. The list of oils recommended by Arysta LifeScience can be found on our website : http://www.arystalifescience.com
• Observe good farming practices and consult the list of mixtures authorised on the website : http://e-phy.agriculture.fr
• Lower efficacy has occasionally been observed when mixed with Metamitrone.
Key factors for optimizing efficacy Apply foly® R when grasses are actively growing
• Ideal hygrometry between 65 and 90%.
• Avoid drying winds and periods of drought.
• Do not apply if rain is expected within one hour of application.
• Do not treat below 8°C or above 25°C.
